The German organisation with a global footprint, Mellita Group owns Melitta Schweiz GmbH and Cafina AG. The Group set up its new headquarters in Zofingen, Switzerland and the two renowned coffee brands, Melitta and Cafina were to share the same showroom. The Expomobilia team designed the joint showroom with the brief that the two different brand presences had to be spatially staged together.
Two brands in one space
Our team transformed the large meeting room right next to the entranceof the office building into a joint showroom that meets all the essential requirements for both brands: for Melitta AG, the demonstration & direct sale of its fully automatic household coffee machines and for Cafina AG’s, its professional coffee preparation systems.
The complete package from concept to final installation
Expomobilia demonstrated its expertise and entire range of general contractor services – from the drafting of the first rough concept to the detailed design, technical planning and final execution. Furniture such as kitchen units, counters and tables were custom-made in the Expomobilia workshops in Switzerland.

Prior to the final assembly in Zofingen, the team tested the components in the production hall at its headquarters in Effretikon. This enabled the team to check how well the materials harmonised and adjust the final touches to make it a perfect presentation.
